The account provider, platform and affiliate service provider are different roles. Treating them as one entity creates errors about approval, contractual terms, regulated-service responsibility and who must answer an operational question.
Account provider
The relevant financial institution provides and independently approves the business account. Its opening documents determine the account type, holder and terms. Questions about approval, account ownership, supported currencies, payment routes, limits and institution-issued statements should be confirmed with that institution.
Technology platform
DogPay connects the online application and platform-operation layer and may support access to transaction records, reconciliation or reporting where available. This platform role does not make DogPay the financial institution providing the account and does not override the institution’s documents.
Affiliate service provider
USD and supported stablecoin conversion or settlement and crypto payment gateway services are provided by DogPay affiliates to eligible customers, subject to provider terms, applicable law and geographical availability. Questions about eligibility, supported assets, conversion or settlement terms and virtual-asset service availability belong to the identified affiliate provider and its terms.
Business customer
The business remains responsible for supplying accurate application information, protecting access, following its approval controls, verifying payment instructions, maintaining books and confirming that a service fits its legal and operational requirements.
Fast routing table
Account approval or account terms → financial institution. Platform access or workflow issue → DogPay support. Stablecoin or crypto gateway eligibility and terms → identified affiliate service provider. Invoice, authority or accounting treatment → the business and its professional advisers. If ownership is unclear, pause and identify the contracting entity before acting.
